You play a character who has lost his soulmate and decides to go and find her by crossing the River Styx. The character crosses this dangerous river in a boat, which he can repair using materials found on islands. On the way, he will meet old acquaintances who have died, and will be held back by Hades, who will try to stop him and bring him back to the living, as he has no place in this world.
